Never satisfied that the way we’ve always done it is the way it has to be, following a profound experience with burnout and recovery, I launched Adjunct Advisors LLC in the summer of 2018 with the simple belief that we could do more to support individuals who have chosen a career in insurance. We must.
A sociologist at heart, with 25 years of experience working inside insurance carriers, independent agencies, and as a consultant, and as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and licensed independent insurance agent, I leverage my strong technical background, keen interpersonal skills, and leadership acumen in every interaction with those I work with - replacing fear and confusion with confidence.
Insurance sales and leadership professionals gain support through the innovative one-on-one and group coaching services, speaking engagements, workshops, and facilitated off-sites that I curate, where my extensive experience in working as a human-first underwriter, leader, and agent myself helps individuals to see success more quickly.
Women who have chosen a career in insurance find support and community through Bound & Determined℠, a podcast for and by women in insurance, as well as the speaking and event curation that I do.
A proud graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University with roots in Chicago, I’m currently a digital nomad, living and working as I go - and you can find me putting the “practice” into yoga practice, searching for the best vegan bakery, or sipping a mocktail while enjoying live music somewhere in the world.
